Our task - is to deliver fast & accurate translation and voice-over of videos into 70 languages. We are looking for a Translator/Post-editor in Arabic (Gulf) to join our team. Main tasks: - full post-editing - timestamp editing - working with machine voice-over Required skills for English - Arabic (Gulf) pair: - Arabic (Gulf) language - Native - English language - C2 Required skills for Arabic (Gulf) - English pair: - English language - Native - Arabic (Gulf) language - C2 Required skills for both language pairs: - experience in translating/post-editing/subtitling - 1 year+ - MT knowledge & evaluation competence - focusing on the details - error spotting - research competence - cultural and intercultural competence - ability to follow and adapt to client specifications Rates depend on the type of order and the kind of translation job that needs to be done: - $1.8 per minute of video for subtitles with translation (full post-editing only; approximate time of the work - 1:5) - $2.8 per minute of video for subtitles with voice acting (full post-editing and working with machine voice-over; approximate time of the work - 1:15) Before you get your first task, we will ask you to learn our Translator’s Guidelines and take a test based on them.Category: Writing & TranslationSubcategory: TranslationHow many words?: Between 1,000 and 5,000 wordsIs this a project or a position?: ProjectRequired availability: As needed
