About the Role: We are seeking a Fractional Google Ads Specialist who can take ownership of our clients’ paid search initiatives, from technical setup to ongoing optimization and reporting. You will manage both B2B lead generation and e-commerce campaigns, overseeing everything from Google Ads account creation to Merchant Center integration and Google Tag Manager. Additionally, you’ll coordinate copywriting and landing page requirements with our internal team, ensuring each campaign meets its KPIs and delivers a strong ROI. Your mission is to drive qualified traffic, boost conversions, and maximize return on ad spend through a data-driven approach, continuous testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is an internal delivery role—you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure that our clients’ paid search goals are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities Account Setup & Technical Configuration: Create and configure Google Ads accounts for new and existing clients, ensuring proper campaign hierarchy and settings. Integrate Merchant Center for e-commerce stores, managing product feeds, approvals, and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tracking to accurately measure conversions and user behavior. Campaign Creation & Strategy: Conduct keyword research tailored to different business models (B2B lead gen, e-commerce products). Establish ad groups, ad copy, and extensions aligned with marketing goals. Collaborate with internal teams (designers, copywriters) to create optimized landing pages, ensuring consistent messaging and a smooth user experience. Ongoing Optimization & Management: Monitor and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting parameters to optimize performance across search, display, shopping, and remarketing campaigns. Execute A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments to identify winning strategies. Ensure all campaigns adhere to Google Ads policies, particularly in sensitive niches like health and nutrition. B2B Lead Generation & E-commerce Focus: B2B: Develop funnel-based strategies for capturing high-quality leads, incorporating lead form extensions, dynamic search ads, or other relevant features. E-commerce: Boost product sales by leveraging Shopping campaigns, dynamic remarketing, and strategic feed optimizations. Reporting & Attribution: Set up conversion tracking (via Google Analytics, GTM) to capture form fills, phone calls, and/or e-commerce purchases accurately. Create clear, data-driven reports—highlighting CPA, CTR, conversions, ROAS, and other key metrics. Advise on attribution models and remarketing lists, ensuring a full-funnel view of paid search performance. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with designers and copywriters to produce effective ad creative and landing pages. Provide internal stakeholders with campaign updates, insights, and next-step recommendations on a regular basis. Maintain transparent documentation of account structures, past optimizations, and testing outcomes. Stay Current & Experiment: Keep up with Google Ads platform updates, new features (e.g., Performance Max), and emerging best practices. Experiment with innovative strategies—such as smart bidding, audience segmentation, or dynamic ads—to continuously improve performance. Analyze results to refine approaches and scale successful campaigns. Required Qualifications & Experience - 3+ years of professional experience managing Google Ads for diverse clients, including B2B lead generation and e-commerce. - Proven track record of setting up Merchant Center, product feeds, and Shopping campaigns—particularly for online retailers. - Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to implement, track, and optimize conversions. - Strong command of keyword research, ad copy best practices, bidding strategies, and campaign structuring. - Familiarity with landing page optimization principles; ability to coordinate with designers/copywriters for best results. - Experience interpreting data from Ads Manager, Analytics, and third-party tracking tools to drive actionable insights. - Ability to manage multiple accounts concurrently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting. - Up-to-date on Google Ads policies and compliance guidelines, especially in regulated niches (health, nutrition, supplements). What We Offer Remote Work Arrangement: Join a vibrant, fully remote team that serves a diverse client base. Impactful Projects: Collaborate on challenging B2B and e-commerce campaigns in high-value niches. Professional Growth: Develop advanced PPC and analytics skills in a data-driven environment that encourages experimentation.
