Our stack is Java, Scala (Sangria), GraphQL, Mongo. We need to create a service for user registration with email and password with these criteria. 1. A service must be created so that the user can register with email and password using the following flow: Receive name, email, and password; encrypt and store these data in the database. The database has a field labeled “Emailverified” that is “false” at the moment of capturing the data, this field should change to “true” after the user verifies the email. Get the user id from the database and build the endpoint’s url for the email confirmation. Send a confirmation email with the link so the user can activate the account. 2. Create a service to verify user email A service must be created that gets the user ID, verifies that the user exists and the changes the emailVerfied field to TRUE. 3. Create a service for the user to log in using email and password. The service logic is the following: Email and password are received. Verify that the email and password are correct, otherwise it must return a UNAUTHORIZED. Verify that the emailVerified is TRUE, otherwise, return a message indicating that the user is not active. If all this validations are passed it must return the authentication TOKEN. We initially need help migrating the authentication services from Leancloud to firebase or amplify. Overall we do not intend to create new services, this is a mature project that we received from another company.
