About the Role: We’re looking for a creative Social Media Video Creator who can write engaging scripts and edit high-quality short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. This role requires a blend of storytelling, trend awareness, and video editing skills to create content that stops the scroll, drives engagement, and boosts conversions. Responsibilities: Script Writing: • Develop engaging, concise scripts for short-form videos that educate, entertain, and convert. • Craft strong hooks and storytelling elements to maximize audience retention. • Conduct research on scams, online safety, and identity verification topics to create informative content. • Adapt scripts based on platform trends, audience insights, and performance data. • Collaborate with content strategists, UGC creators, and marketing teams to align messaging. Video Editing: • Edit short-form videos with engaging cuts, transitions, text overlays, captions, and motion graphics. • Optimize videos for mobile-first viewing with dynamic pacing and visual storytelling. • Add subtitles and captions in a way that enhances storytelling and accessibility. • Implement platform-specific best practices to improve retention and virality. • Stay updated on social media trends and apply them to video editing styles. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in content creation, scriptwriting, or video editing for social media. • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook video trends. • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing tools. • Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and editing skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Experience editing UGC and viral-style content is a plus. • Portfolio of short-form video content (scripts and edited videos preferred).
