Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at NexQloud, you'll be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and tools that support our software development lifecycle. Leveraging your expertise in cloud computing, automation, and CI/CD practices, you'll streamline our development processes, improve deployment reliability, and enhance system performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the adoption of DevOps best practices and enabling our teams to deliver high-quality software faster and more efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for our software applications. • Manage complex multi-cluster Kubernetes environment. • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation to provision and configure resources. • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. • Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet business needs. • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments and implement proactive measures to prevent future incidents. • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and automation. • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. • Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator). • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). • Prior experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
