Flutter Developer for AI Model Integration on Android Tablets We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to support the development of a tablet-optimized mobile application that integrates multiple PyTorch models for on-device inference. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Flutter/Dart, Android performance optimization, and hands-on experience running AI models within mobile applications. Project Overview: The app will run on Android tablets and leverage PyTorch models (.pt files) for AI-powered functionality. Performance, responsiveness, and efficient memory/resource management are critical, as the app may handle multiple models concurrently. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a Flutter application optimized for Android tablets - Integrate PyTorch models using the pytorch_mobile plugin - Implement responsive UI with effective state management (Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod) - Handle preprocessing and postprocessing of model inputs/outputs - Optimize memory, thermal, and battery usage during model inference - Implement background processing and manage Dart isolates as needed - Use platform channels to bridge native Android code if required Required Skills: - Proven experience with Flutter and Dart - Experience integrating PyTorch models in mobile apps - Understanding of Android-specific performance considerations - Knowledge of platform channels and native code integration - Familiarity with handling .pt files and multiple ML models within an app Nice to Have: - CI/CD experience for Flutter apps - App profiling and performance monitoring - Knowledge of model quantization and mobile optimization techniques To Apply Please share: - Relevant Flutter projects involving ML/AI integration - Code samples or explanation of your approach to loading and managing ML models efficiently - Any experience with pytorch_mobile or similar tools We’re excited to find someone passionate about building robust AI-powered mobile apps.
