Please do not apply if you have not done this exact type of job before over the phone Job Description: We are seeking an expert-level remote IT support technician who is fully proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues over the phone and via remote access to home based senior citizen end users. We are only looking for experienced professionals who can provide seamless, expert-level support without the need for much onboarding assistance or hand-holding. We do need great listeners and technicians that trust the process, trust the video based guides, listen well and follow the video based best practices, and hit the ground running their first day of calls. Must be smart and creative and have the, ability to think quick, speak quick, get on and off the phone, share and delegate longer tasks to Philippine co-workers, and move to the next callers quickly. Must be able to meet a minimum goal of 1 customer per hour. Longer calls and longer remote sessions must be delegated to co-workers in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert-level phone and remote support for **Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, Chromebook, Android, and iOS**. - Use **Zoho Assist** and **Chrome Remote Desktop** to perform remote troubleshooting and fixes. - Handle all customer inquiries with perfect call control and confidence. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues including but not limited to: - No boot problems - Malware and virus removal - Printer issues - Internet connectivity problems on macOS, Windows, and Chromebooks - Email troubleshooting - Hardware diagnostics and repairs - PC resets and factory restores - Forgotten password recovery - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working with customers. - Ensure customers do not perceive that you are learning on the job—you must have immediate solutions ready. - Perform sales-oriented call handling where necessary. - Undergo live customer test calls to prove your capabilities. Requirements – Do Not Apply Unless You Meet ALL Criteria:** ✅ 5+ years of direct phone-based technical support experience. ✅Fluent English with perfect call control and communication skills. ✅ Complete mastery of troubleshooting Windows, macOS, Chromebook, Android, and iOS devices. ✅ 100% self-sufficient – We do not provide technical training or walkthroughs. ✅ Willing to prove expertise through real customer test calls. ✅ No hesitation in solving problems on the spot without guidance. ✅ Confident and experienced in handling technical sales conversations. ✅ Must be comfortable working with Zoho Assist and Chrome Remote Desktop. ✅ Must have a quiet home office environment with reliable high-speed internet. ✅ Professionalism, reliability, and consistency are a must! ### Mandatory Unpaid Training & Evaluation To ensure only dedicated, committed, true experts are hired, the first 4 to 8 hours of work will be unpaid training and evaluation. This includes: - Watching approximately 4 hours of video content. - Attending 2 to 4 live calibration meeting calls to align with our processes. - Completing 3 - 5 test calls with real customers to demonstrate competency, speed, efficiency, and learning. If you are not comfortable with unpaid training and free job testing for your first 3 - 5 calls, please do not apply. ### Compensation & Work Expectations: - Competitive hourly rate (for work after successful training and test calls). - Work is 40 - 50 hours per week—must be flexible. Weekends are a must. - Must be ready to take customer calls during assigned shifts.
