UX/UI Designer for Redesign of Ultra-Luxury Travel Portal

Description:

We are a luxury travel company known for curating bespoke, luxury journeys for discerning travelers. We’re looking to elevate the digital experience of our online travel portal to reflect the level of sophistication, exclusivity, and beauty that defines our brand. We are seeking a world-class UX/UI designer with deep experience in the luxury travel space to completely redesign our Travel Portal Page — the section of our site where clients explore and browse curated journeys around the globe. This is not a simple refresh — we want to reimagine the page with design and interactivity that rivals (and surpasses) the top luxury travel brands in the world. What We’re Looking For: • A strong design sensibility for luxury aesthetics—you understand elegance, restraint, and how to communicate premium experiences through typography, layout, and image hierarchy. • Proven experience designing travel booking or exploration platforms, luxury lifestyle brands, or destination-focused portals. • A deep understanding of UX for high-net-worth individuals — you know how to make browsing feel like an experience, not a transaction. • Ability to work with our existing brand guidelines and elevate the current interface without compromising our vision. • Mobile-first, responsive design thinking — it needs to look and feel incredible on all devices. Scope of Work: • Redesign the full Travel Portal Page (currently shows destinations by category with cards for each journey). • Create user flows that feel intuitive and elevated — from exploration to inquiry. • Propose interactions that feel refined but modern — subtle animations, elegant transitions, hover states, etc. • Ensure a seamless filtering/sorting experience across regions, styles, and pricing tiers. • Focus on immersive presentation of trips: large imagery, storytelling blocks, CTA buttons that feel natural and discreet. • Provide Figma files (or equivalent) and clickable prototypes. • Collaborate with our web developer for integration and testing.
