Part-time | Remote | Project-based | Equity or Student Placement About Us: Teem Camp is a gamified platform reinventing remote team-building. We design quick, interactive browser-based games that help teams connect, communicate, and have fun — think Jackbox meets Miro. Our first wave of games include formats like trivia, sketching, and social bluffing (e.g. “Two Truths and a Lie”) — all with a Teem Camp twist grounded in behavioural science. What We’re Looking For: We’re hiring a Game Designer with strong UX/UI skills to help us design new mini-games and define the user experience across the platform. You’ll work closely with our founder and a full-stack developer to bring each game to life from a design and player-flow perspective. Responsibilities: Design interactive 2D browser-based games (not world-based or level-based). Adapt well-known formats (e.g. trivia, drawing, card games) into playable prototypes with custom twists. Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes (Figma preferred). Design fun, accessible UI and player flows for both mobile and desktop. Collaborate with developer on UI implementation and game logic. Support with light UX/UI design for the Teem Camp website if needed. Skills & Experience: Strong experience designing 2D games or interactive web games. UX/UI design experience with a portfolio of playful, interactive interfaces. Familiarity with WebGL, Canvas, or browser-friendly game engines/tools. Bonus: Behavioural psychology, gamification, or team-building experience. Bonus: Able to contribute game ideas, character/visual styles, or animations. Details: Remote, part-time project (~5–10 hrs/week to start). Ideal for a student placement, early-career designer, or someone open to working for equity or portfolio in the early stages. Opportunity to become lead Game Designer as we grow.
