Experienced Developer Needed to Troubleshoot Shopify Orders API + Consignment Software Integration

We’re looking for a skilled developer to assist with troubleshooting and enhancing our existing integration between Shopify (Orders API) and our internal consignment software. Orders stopped populating on our admin portal as of Saturday, and we need help urgently diagnosing and fixing the issue. We use a custom-built system that pulls order data from Shopify and routes it into our consignment platform through a backend built on the following stack: Tech Stack: JavaScript (Node.js) Java Spring Boot CubeJS (for analytics) AWS (Lambda, S3, etc.) PostgreSQL Bitbucket & Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) What You’ll Be Doing: Debugging and fixing the issue where Shopify orders are no longer populating in our admin portal. Reviewing the existing API integrations (Shopify Orders API and our backend services). Identifying potential failures in the sync pipeline or authentication with Shopify. Working alongside our internal team to test and deploy a fix. Recommending improvements or alerting mechanisms to prevent future issues. What We’re Looking For: Strong experience working with Shopify APIs, especially Orders API. Proficiency in JavaScript and Java Spring Boot. Familiarity with AWS services and PostgreSQL. Debugging experience with backend systems and third-party integrations. Ability to work independently and communicate clearly via Jira and Slack. Nice to Have: Experience with CubeJS or building analytics dashboards. Prior work on consignment, retail, or inventory management systems.
