We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media & Podcast Manager to support a growing, physician-hosted podcast. This position blends the creative side of social media management with the organizational expertise of podcast coordination. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment and has a strong track record of audience engagement and brand growth, especially within the healthcare or professional services space. You’ll lead efforts to manage content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok, while also driving guest coordination, audience growth, and sponsorship opportunities for the podcast. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management • Evaluate current social media performance and identify growth opportunities • Set and track KPIs and analytics to measure campaign success • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content • Maintain a consistent content calendar on a weekly/monthly basis • Engage with the community through comments and direct messages • Stay current with social trends and adjust strategy as needed • Create and update media kits, sponsorship decks, and brand pitch materials • Identify and pursue partnership and sponsorship opportunities Podcast Management • Handle guest outreach, booking, and scheduling • Ensure guests receive all necessary pre-recording information • Research and pitch potential podcast appearances for the host • Maintain a monthly podcast content calendar and coordinate episode planning • Follow up on episode releases and distribute content across relevant channels • Manage the posting and promotion of episodes via social and email platforms Marketing & Sponsorships • Develop strategies to grow both social media following and email subscriber list • Run email marketing campaigns and segment audiences effectively • Seek out and secure sponsorship and monetization opportunities for the brand Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in social media and podcast management • Demonstrated success in growing brands and securing sponsorships • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Experience in the healthcare or professional services industry is a strong plus • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Proficiency in: o Social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok o Design and productivity tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Google Suite o Scheduling/management tools: Hootsuite, Loomly o Email marketing platforms: Mailchimp, Flodesk, ConvertKit • Comfortable working with in-platform analytics and implementing SEO best practices • Preference for candidates located on the East Coast to support scheduling flexibility Additional Information: • This is a remote contract role with a flexible, agreed-upon schedule • The role will begin with a 60-day probation period, with the potential to transition into a longer-term arrangement based on performance
