Seeking a Full-Stack Developer to Build a Web App for OCR + AI Document Processing. Project Overview We have an existing Python-based OCR + AI engine that extracts and processes data from financial documents (PDF bank statements) and converts them into structured Excel files. Now, we need a full-stack developer to build a web-based platform around this engine. Users should be able to upload files, trigger AI processing, and download the final Excel output—all within a secure, scalable web app. Important: The AI engine is already built and will be delivered as a modular Python script. Your job is to create the web application, integrate the script via API/microservices, and deploy the system in the cloud. Key Responsibilities Front-End Development (User Interface & Workflow) Design a clean, responsive UI (React, Vue, or Angular) Implement secure login & authentication (OAuth, JWT, etc.) Develop a file upload system (drag & drop, multi-file support) Display processing progress & allow users to download results Back-End Development (API & Python Integration) Connect the front-end to the existing OCR/AI Python engine Develop API endpoints to process up to 12 PDFs per batch Implement background processing (optimize multi-threading) Store & manage user-submitted files, logs, and results Cloud Deployment & Security Deploy the solution on AWS, GCP, or Azure (open to your recommendations) Implement secure file storage & encryption for sensitive data Set up a CI/CD pipeline for deployment and future updates Performance Optimization Ensure fast processing times (multi-threading or queue-based execution) Handle multiple users concurrently without slowdowns Follow best practices for security (SSL, data encryption, API protection) Tech Stack (Flexible – Open to Your Suggestions) We have some preferences but are open to better alternatives based on your expertise.
