JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: As a Google Ads Consultant, you will work closely with our Marketing Team to manage and optimize our Google Ads campaigns to increase brand visibility, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and conversion rates. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining strategies to ensure our paid advertising efforts are profitable and efficient. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (1) Campaign Management & Optimization • Set up, manage, and optimize Google Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max campaigns. • Implement effective bidding strategies (manual, automated, target ROAS, target CPA, etc.). • Regularly analyze campaign performance and adjust targeting, ad copy, extensions, and budgets to improve results. • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and CTAs to maximize conversion rates. • Identify negative keywords and optimize keyword lists to reduce wasted ad spend. (2) Conversion Tracking & Analytics • Set up and maintain conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Ads Conversion Actions. • Monitor and analyze Google Analytics 4 (GA4) data to track user behavior and improve ad performance. • Ensure proper integration between Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and Google Tag Manager. • Develop custom reports and dashboards in Google Analytics / Google Looker Studio to track performance metrics. (3) Google Merchant Center & Shopping Ads • Optimize Google Shopping campaigns for VersaDesk products, ensuring proper product feed setup. • Troubleshoot and resolve Google Merchant Center issues, such as disapproved products or feed errors. • Work on feed optimization (titles, descriptions, images, pricing strategies) to improve ad ranking. (4) Strategic Growth & Testing • Research and implement new ad formats, audience targeting methods, and ad placements. • Stay updated with Google Ads algorithm updates and industry best practices. • Propose scalable strategies to increase conversions and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA). • Implement remarketing and customer list strategies for retargeting past website visitors and email subscribers. (5) Budget & Performance Management • Develop and manage ad budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across campaigns. • Track Quality Score, CTR, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain cost efficiency. • Provide weekly and monthly reports on ad spend, performance, and recommendations for improvement.
