We are a makerspace that runs a kids program every summer. This summer's Summer Passport program's theme is explore. We are on a time crunch and need this finished by May 1st. Past versions of this document have featured cute robots and other kid friendly designs. Program Overview Dates: June 7 – August 1, 2025 Participants collect stamps by engaging in various activities to earn fun 3D-printed prizes and a chance to win a Toybox 3D Printer. Ways to Earn Stamps: Attend Take & Make kit events: June 9- Build-A-Flashlight June 23- DIY Compass July 7- Solar Oven July 21-Craft-A-Kite Attend Drop-in activities: June 18- Lightsabers June 20- Create-A-Speaker July 2- Finch-Bot Joust July 16- Solar Roaches July 18- Make-A-Monster July 30-Gaming Day! August 1-Summer Wrap-Up Attend Do Space youth programs (Make It, Design It, and Kid Coders). Check out Tech Kits at Do Space. Use a computer at Do Space Attend a program at Omaha Public Library. Prize Structure 10 stamps = Pick a 3D-printed prize 20 stamps = Pick another 3D-printed prize + Entry to win a Toybox 3D Printer Important Dates All prize entries must be submitted by Monday, August 4. The prize drawing will take place on Friday, August 8. We’d also like the passport to have the link or a QR code to our calendar if possible (dospace.org/calendar) Other important Details: Page Dimensions: The folded final size is 3.5 inches wide x 5.25 inches tall Hole Punch: Leave space in the upper left-hand corner (approximately 0.5” from edges) for a hole punch—avoid placing any design elements or important content in this area. Stamp Collection Pages: Create two full pages with space for kids to collect stamps. Tear-Off Entry Tab (on back page): Add a dotted line indicating a cut-out tab at the bottom or side of the back page. Include labeled fields for Name and Phone Number. This tab will be cut off and used for a prize entry, so make it visually distinct from the rest of the page.
