UI/UX Designer for Shopify Site (Marvel x Zesty Paws x Pixar Style)

Project Summary: Biome Brigade® is a pet health brand that brings science to life through storytelling and unforgettable characters. We're looking for a visionary UI/UX designer to design a Shopify website that feels like Pixar, sells like Zesty Paws, and pulls visitors in like Marvel — blending storytelling, commerce, and immersive design into one unforgettable experience. This is a design-only role — we already have a developer who will handle the Shopify theme customization and eCommerce setup. We need a designer who can think visually and cinematically to create a site that accentuates our superhero characters, products, and animation, with large images, sight, sound, and motion. Scope of Work: • Design the UI/UX of a 20–30 page Shopify site • Focus on motion design + interactivity to make the user experience dynamic and engaging • Work from our provided brand guidelines, color palette, and site outline • Incorporate animated characters, storytelling elements, and bold visuals • Highlight our science-based pet products, animated episodes, and superhero characters • Ensure all pages are visually stunning on desktop, and mobile-responsive Deliverables: • Full UI/UX design mockups for ~20–30 pages (Figma or Adobe XD preferred) • Motion design proposals (simple interactions, hover effects, animated sections) • Design system / component library if needed • Collaboration with our in-house developer for seamless handoff Timeline: • Start: ASAP • Deadline: May 15, 2025 • We will provide the full site outline, all copy, and creative direction upon hire Additional Notes: • NDA and IP assignment required • You’ll work directly with our creative director and web integration lead • We are an established brand with character IP and strong visual identity Ideal Candidate Has: • Shopify UI/UX design experience (with examples) • Strong motion/interaction design chops • Familiarity with storytelling-heavy, brand-centric websites • Experience designing sites for eCommerce, entertainment, or pet/health brands is a bonus • A playful, cinematic visual sensibility Can you help us create the most visually exciting Shopify site in pet health?
