YouTube Baseball Editor Needed – Pitching Analytics Focus (Must Understand Baseball) Pay: $20 per video (3 videos per week) Timeline: 2–3 minute videos, due within 5 days of assignment Opportunity: Long-term role if content quality and channel growth align Remote | Freelance | Must Know Baseball ABOUT THE PROJECT I run Pitching Data Lab on YouTube — a channel breaking down elite MLB pitching using data, overlays, and visual storytelling. Every video is built around pitch design, sequencing, movement, and execution. This is not highlights — this is true pitching analysis. Examples of my content: Jesús Luzardo Breakdown - https://youtu.be/alvkxNGst4M?feature=shared Logan Gilbert Breakdown - https://youtu.be/zxNt0eQMkPE?feature=shared Yoshinobu Yamamoto Breakdown - https://youtu.be/2ISVSHCDQUY?feature=shared WHO I’M LOOKING FOR A video editor who: Understands pitching and MLB game flow Can recognize pitch types, sequencing patterns, and know why a slider is different from a sweeper Can visually enhance my breakdowns using game footage, stats, and overlays WHAT I PROVIDE Edited voiceover (final, ready to go) Pitcher name, opponent, game date Baseball Savant link (for movement, usage, spin, sequencing) MLB Film Room link to the outing Logo and transition assets WHAT YOU DO: Pull relevant MLB Film Room clips from the exact game Show the correct pitch that matches the voiceover (ex: if I say “changeup,” I want a clip of the changeup) Visually highlight pitch shape, velocity, spin direction, movement, sequencing, etc. Add clean text overlays, stat callouts, and movement graphics when appropriate Use transitions + branding I provide Create engaging, accurate, and clean 2–3 minute YouTube videos MUST HAVE: Real knowledge of baseball pitching Understanding of pitch design concepts (movement, tunneling, spin) Experience editing content for YouTube Ability to work fast and hit 3-video/week turnaround PAY + GROWTH $20 per video (flat) 3 videos/week Potential long-term gig if quality is high and channel growth continues TO APPLY: Examples of baseball-related or sports editing work Quick note on your baseball background or knowledge Optional: One suggestion to improve a Pitching Data Lab video Looking for someone who knows pitching and can make these breakdowns come alive.
