Magazine Advertising Designer / Production Associate Part-time / Remote / Freelance 20-30hrs/week Covering a 12 week maternity leave, April 1 2025-June 30th 2025 This is a hybrid graphic design/administrative role. Much of the position requires administrative work including reaching out to advertising clients for print ready advertisements and materials. Responsibilities: 1: Use our CRM, AdOrbit, to monitor production reports for our multiple publications. Contact our advertising clients to gather the advertisements. 2. Design any ads that require building. Often times clients supply print ready ads, but occasionally they will supply only the materials (images, text, etc) in this case the candidate will design the ad. 3. Ensure ad materials furnished by clients meet the standards of publishing and printability, as well as aligning with the standards of RMS Media Group, Inc. Preflight supplied ads to ensure they are CMYK vs RGB, that all physical dimensions are correct in terms of bleed, live area, trim, etc. 4. Publishing is a fast-moving, deadline driven industry, other responsibilities may arise based on deadlines. Requirements: • Excellent communication skills • Experience with photo editing • Work efficiently and quickly under pressure. • MAC based Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator • Strong graphic design portfolio
