About the Role: We are seeking a talented Web Developer and Designer. This role will involve developing HTML emails (that are already designed), as well as building and maintaining web content for NetLine's various websites, including the corporate site (NetLine.com) and subsidiary properties. The ideal candidate will have experience with web development, email design, and graphics support, working closely with Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure a seamless user experience across web and email platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain NetLine's corporate website and associated web forms, converting marketing designs into functional web pages. Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement new web features, content, and technologies. Work with WordPress to manage subsidiary websites (such as the blog), including theming and administration. Develop HTML emails, ensuring they are responsive and mobile-friendly for both promotional and transactional purposes, using pre-existing branded templates. Manage and deploy email campaigns, working closely with Marketing and Engineering teams to adapt designs and meet deadlines. Ensure email templates are compliant with industry standards and cross-client compatibility (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, mobile). Provide graphics support and assist in creating visual elements for web and email content. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and email templates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS, with the ability to code templates by hand. Experience working with WordPress and other content management systems. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop; knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro is a plus. Basic understanding of JavaScript and jQuery. Familiarity with SEO/meta elements and DOM structure. Experience coding responsive, mobile-first websites and emails. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with email list management and deployment in a custom environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot web and email issues quickly. Additional Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with email coding for specific clients like Outlook using VML and mso-* elements. Familiarity with Unix-based text editors (e.g., emacs). Experience with email testing tools such as Litmus.
