Here is how I’m thinking about the specs. Using CAPS for clarity, not yelling or angry. •A stand-alone website that I own and host away from the university that I work for. I’m open to the software used to create it, as long as it’s owned and hosted in the USA to abide by my university's security requirements. •Each semester, I would create a STORE. •The STORE would have one PRODUCT LISTING PAGE for each student. •100-120 total students would need access to this website. •I would use email and pin to assign all students (about 100) to a PRODUCT LISTING PAGE — they only have editing power for THEIR PAGE •This would NEVER be live and there would never be payments collected — it’s just for class. •Students have ONE product listing page and can edit whenever they want •At their leisure, students would sign into their store using their email & password •each student would ONLY be able to edit their PRODUCT LISTING PAGE •All pages would use the SAME TEMPLATE for the PRODUCT LISTING PAGE •students ONLY add text, pictures & video to the TEMPLATE — it can be pretty basic with no carousels or links or payments students could work on their product page at their own schedule without fear of overwrite (important) •This is a class project in which the PEER-RATING is the most important thing •Students would be able to see ALL product listings in the STORE even though they can only edit THEIR LISTING •Students are able to provide Ratings for ALL PRODUCT LISTING PAGES (rate 1-5 on up to 6 aspects that I choose) •Students are able to provide Comments on ALL PRODUCT LISTING PAGES (this is optional) Since it’s basically a shared space — it feels almost like a very big GOOGLE SHARED DOC. I’d be open to using Google if that’s a good way to handle this.
