Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer to build and maintain our E-commerce website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire development process, from designing and building the site to ensuring it remains fully operational and up-to-date with ongoing monthly maintenance. The role requires a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and a keen eye for design and user experience. Responsibilities: Develop a fully functional and visually appealing E-commerce website from scratch. Implement essential E-commerce features such as product listings, cart, checkout, payment gateway, and inventory management. Ensure the website is responsive and optimized for mobile and desktop views. Provide ongoing monthly maintenance, including bug fixes, performance improvements, security updates, and adding new features as needed. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure the website aligns with branding and marketing objectives. Implement SEO best practices to ensure the site is search engine friendly. Monitor website performance and implement improvements based on analytics data. Qualifications: Proven experience in web development, specifically E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom-built solutions. Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with backend technologies and databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Preferred Skills: Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace. Knowledge of payment gateway integration. Familiarity with email marketing platforms or integrations.
