We are looking for a skilled Node.js Engineer to help integrate our platform with various social media APIs, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. Please read below carefully. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: - Must have extensive Social Media API integration experience. We will test for this, via Zoom. prior to hiring. - Must be able to use Zoom after we hire you to speed along integration with our engineering team. - Must be in the United States - Must speak and understand fluent English - Must be available from 9am-4pm ET to work. We aren't going to be texting at 8pm at night or on weekends because that's when you're available. - Must be able to agree to a fixed price contract As part of this project, the engineer will be responsible for developing backend services to enable seamless posting of images and videos directly from our site to these platforms. Responsibilities: • Improve and test existing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest API integrations • Develop secure and scalable backend services for managing media (images and videos) and posting them to social media. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and media uploads. • Ensure smooth and reliable communication between our platform and the social media APIs. • Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. • Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure the smooth flow of media data and content from our site to social media platforms. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integrations, processes, and configurations. Projects: • Bring Social Media analytics into our dashboard • Improve our automated scheduling features Further Requirements: • Proven experience with Node.js and JavaScript. • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest). • Familiarity with authentication protocols like OAuth and handling media uploads to social platforms. • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming. • Experience in handling large volumes of image and video data. • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize API integration processes. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
