Job Description: We’re ChainRecorder — a blockchain data recording and consulting platform focused on secure, compliant, and verifiable digital records. We’re approaching our go-to-market launch and are looking for a highly experienced Python developer to jump in short-term, clean up and optimize our backend codebase, and help us hit key milestones. What You’ll Do: Review and refactor existing Python backend code (clean, modular, secure). Fix known bugs and performance issues. Ensure integration with blockchain components (e.g., hash recording, verification). Consult on architecture and system improvements. Assist with last-mile feature development before launch. Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of Python development experience. Strong backend skills (REST APIs, modular design, PostgreSQL). Familiar with blockchain basics: hashes, smart contracts, secure data handling. Able to work independently and suggest smart, scalable improvements. Bonus: Experience with compliance-heavy systems (legal, financial, etc.) Project Details: Duration: ~3–6 weeks (may pause after initial delivery) Future Work: Potential for more if product launch goes well Availability: Need someone who can start quickly and deliver efficiently To Apply: Please include: A short note on relevant experience Links to past work (GitHub, portfolio, or client feedback) Availability and preferred working hours (we’re flexible) We move fast — if you’re a senior Python dev who thrives on focused, impactful work, let’s connect.
