Role Summary: We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to join our team at QuarryLabs Inc. As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical direction and strategy of QuarryChain, and it's ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of all technical aspects of QuarryChain, ensuring the platform meets our high standards of performance, security, and scalability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of our technical roadmap. You will also work alongside our business development and marketing teams to align our technical capabilities with market needs and opportunities. Requirements: - Proven Experience: In software development, full-stack development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role such as CTO, Head of Engineering, or similar. - Blockchain Expertise: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, including consensus algorithms (Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, Delegated Proof of Stake), smart contracts, and decentralized applications (Dapps). - Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technical team, with experience in mentoring and developing talent. - Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technical strategies with business goals. - Development Skills: Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C++, Go, Solidity, Rust, Python, Java) and experience with blockchain development frameworks. - Security Focus: Deep understanding of blockchain security best practices and the ability to implement robust security measures. - Project Management: Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools. - Innovation and Research: Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the blockchain space, and incorporate them into the company's technical strategy. - Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Remote Work: Comfortable with remote work and able to manage a distributed team effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with tokenization of real-world assets and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. - Familiarity with yield farming and decentralized exchanges (DEXs). - Previous experience in a startup environment.
