Our system merges GIS data, real-time analytics, and advanced AI tools to optimize healthcare footprints, empower local healthcare providers, and shape the future of health franchising in the 2nd and 3rd world. Job Overview You will join our growing development team to craft feature-rich, user-friendly mapping interfaces. As the champion of our client-side GIS technology, you’ll embed and integrate 3rd-party mapping components (e.g., Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, or similar) into real-time web applications that orchestrate large-scale territory management for healthcare facilities. You will work closely with our Python-based back-end team and our UX designers to create interactive, data-driven solutions that advance PERSOWN’s global mission. Responsibilities - GIS Integration & Development - Embed, customize, and optimize third-party mapping libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, or similar). - Implement advanced GeoJSON operations: layering, styling, and real-time updates. - Develop interactive territory visualization, boundary editing, and data-driven overlays. - Front-End Engineering - Build responsive, high-performance web interfaces using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar). - Integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven data flows to provide real-time GIS updates. - Maintain code quality, reusability, and scalability with thorough documentation and testing. - Collaboration & AI-Readiness - Work with cross-functional teams (designers, data scientists, AI engineers, and back-end devs) to iterate on features. - Embrace generative AI tools and ML-based analytics to enhance user experiences and map data insights. - Participate in agile ceremonies—sprints, stand-ups, retros—and occasionally assist with user feedback cycles. Qualifications - Must-Have - 3+ years of front-end web development experience (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3). - Demonstrated expertise in integrating GIS/mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox, Leaflet, Cesium) into real-world applications. - Solid understanding of GeoJSON, geometry types, coordinate systems (CRS), and performance best practices for large map data. - Experience with version control (Git) and agile development. - Nice-to-Have - Familiarity with real-time data technologies (WebSockets, SSE). - Background in design or ability to translate Figma/Sketch mockups to production UI. - Experience with AI-friendly tooling, or curiosity about integrating generative AI in front-end workflows. - Knowledge of Python-based back-ends (FastAPI, Django) or microservices architecture.
