Job Posting: Website Usability Tester (Remote, Contract) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract / Part-Time Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Job Overview: We are looking for a Website Usability Tester to thoroughly evaluate our new website for ease of use, functionality, and overall user experience. Your goal will be to identify usability issues, report any bugs or glitches, and suggest improvements to enhance the website’s user-friendliness. Responsibilities: Navigate the website as both a first-time visitor and an experienced user to evaluate its intuitiveness. Identify bugs, broken links, slow loading pages, or any technical issues. Assess the clarity of navigation, layout, and user flow, providing feedback on areas of confusion. Test key website features, including forms, search functionality, account creation, checkout process, and mobile responsiveness. Report all findings with detailed descriptions, screenshots, and potential improvement suggestions. Provide feedback on mobile vs. desktop experiences to ensure consistency across devices. Suggest UI/UX enhancements to improve accessibility and ease of use. Requirements: Attention to detail and ability to identify both minor and major usability issues. Strong communication skills to articulate issues and improvement suggestions clearly. Experience with website usability testing, UX analysis, or quality assurance (QA) is a plus but not required. Ability to test across multiple devices and browsers (desktop, mobile, Chrome, Safari, etc.). Familiarity with basic reporting tools (Google Docs, spreadsheets, bug tracking platforms) is helpful. Self-motivated and able to provide constructive feedback independently. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in user testing, UX/UI evaluation, or web quality assurance. Understanding of basic website functionality and user behavior. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and UI best practices. Why Join Us?
