We are looking for a highly independent Backend Developer to join our team and help build the next generation of AI-powered systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage projects autonomously, thrive under tight deadlines, and work extensive hours (40+hrs pr week) when needed to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js, Fastify, and TypeScript. - Work with cloud services, particularly AWS (e.g., S3 via the AWS SDK). - Implement integrations with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) and tools like Drizzle ORM. - Design secure, scalable APIs and handle complex workflows. - Work with AI/ML frameworks and APIs like OpenAI and Milvus. - Build real-time features (e.g., WebSocket, LiveKit SDK). - Write and maintain tests using Jest for robust, reliable systems. Requirements: - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScriptand Fastify or similar frameworks. - Experience with cloud services, especially AWS. - Strong understanding of databases: PostgreSQL and Redis. - Knowledge of API integrations (e.g., Stripe, OpenID Connect). - Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, particularly vector databases (e.g., Milvus). - Self-motivated with exceptional project management and time management skills. - Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Bonus Points: - Experience with Drizzle ORM and schema migrations. - Knowledge of real-time systems using WebSockets or LiveKit. - Understanding of modern dev tooling (e.g., tsx, Jest). - Familiarity with Stripe integrations and secure payment systems.
