We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with experience in legacy PHP applications to lead both manual and automated testing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who can work hands-on with browser-based testing in the short term while implementing test automation frameworks for long-term stability. What You’ll Do ✅ Conduct manual testing of key workflows and critical features. ✅ Implement browser-based test automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. ✅ Develop and run unit, integration, and regression tests using PHPUnit, Codeception, or Behat. ✅ Identify bugs and performance issues, and work with developers to resolve them. ✅ Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation. ✅ Set up automated CI/CD pipelines for testing using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. ✅ Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility testing.
