About Us: We are a fast-growing IT service provider based in Oregon. Our core focus is managed IT services, cybersecurity, and technical support for small to mid-sized businesses. Recently, we’ve identified an increasing demand for web services—including basic WordPress website builds, e-commerce integrations, and SEO services. However, our ability to manage these projects efficiently has been limited due to the lack of a dedicated coordinator. We are looking for a Web Service Coordinator who can help us oversee website projects, keep developers accountable, communicate with clients, and assist in pricing/quoting new work. What You’ll Do (Your Role) As the Web Service Coordinator, you will be the linchpin between customers, developers, and our sales team. Your main goal is to ensure web projects stay on track, are delivered on time, and meet client expectations. Your responsibilities include: ✅ Project Coordination: Organize and manage multiple web projects (WordPress sites, e-commerce builds, SEO engagements). Ensure developers stay on track with deadlines and deliverables. Follow up regularly with both the dev team and clients to keep projects moving. ✅ Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for website customers. Gather necessary information/content from clients to prevent project delays. Keep clients informed on progress and set realistic expectations for deliverables. ✅ Developer Management: Find and vet reliable developers for ongoing and future work. Set clear project milestones and ensure developers adhere to them. Troubleshoot project delays and step in as needed to move things forward. ✅ Sales Support & Quoting: Assist the sales team in scoping, pricing, and quoting website projects. Provide insights on developer costs, timeline feasibility, and project complexity. Negotiate pricing and scope adjustments with clients when needed. ✅ Process Improvement: Standardize our website build process to reduce inefficiencies. Develop templates and workflows to ensure repeatable success. Recommend automation or project management tools to streamline coordination. What You Bring (Your Skills & Experience) WordPress Proficiency: You understand WordPress inside and out—able to build and troubleshoot sites but, more importantly, direct other developers effectively. Project Management Skills: You have experience keeping teams accountable and ensuring deliverables are met on time. Client Communication: You are great at explaining technical concepts in a simple way, setting expectations, and making sure customers feel informed. Sales & Pricing Knowledge: You can help estimate costs and assist in writing proposals that make sense for both us and the customer. Problem-Solving Mindset: When a developer gets stuck or a client request goes off track, you know how to course-correct without creating unnecessary delays. Flexible & Proactive Attitude: You don’t wait for problems to come to you—you go find them and solve them before they become roadblocks. Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills) SEO knowledge (basic optimization, keyword strategy) WooCommerce/eCommerce experience Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.) Basic graphic design ability (Canva, Photoshop) Why Join Us? Flexible, Remote Role – Work from anywhere, on your schedule. Growth Opportunity – We plan to scale our web services, and you’ll be an integral part of making that happen. Work with a Great Team – Bytagig is a dynamic, growing IT company with a strong reputation in our industry. If you’re looking for a part-time, high-impact role where you can shape and grow a web service offering, we’d love to hear from you!
