Description:

About the Project We are developing an innovative compliance management software tailored to USDA-regulated plants. This SaaS tool will integrate AI-powered features to automate documentation, ensure compliance, and provide real-time insights for USDA-regulated facilities. As a subject matter expert in USDA compliance, I’ll guide the vision, but I’m looking for a skilled developer to bring it to life. What You’ll Do Design and develop the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), focusing on core functionalities such as: Secure data storage for compliance records. Automated compliance checks and alerts. A user-friendly interface for streamlined operations. Collaborate on the technical architecture and recommend the best technology stack. Integrate AI features, such as compliance recommendations or predictive analytics. Ensure scalability and flexibility for future feature expansions. Work closely with me to align development with USDA regulatory needs. Who You Are Experienced full-stack developer with a strong portfolio of SaaS or web-based applications. Creative problem-solver who can work independently while collaborating with a non-technical subject matter expert. Comfortable with an iterative approach to development, focusing on rapid prototyping and user feedback. Bonus: Experience with AI/ML integration or compliance-focused applications. Required Skills Strong knowledge of back-end and front-end technologies (language and tools are flexible, but proficiency in frameworks like React, Node.js, or similar is ideal). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Familiarity with database design and management (SQL or NoSQL). Strong understanding of scalable and secure coding practices. Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenAI APIs). Familiarity with compliance workflows or document management systems. Work Arrangement Freelance or part-time with flexible hours. Remote work is fine, but regular check-ins will be required to ensure alignment and progress. Target timeline: MVP completed within 3–6 months. Compensation Open to negotiation based on experience and project scope. Why Join Us? Work on a meaningful project aimed at improving compliance and operational efficiency for USDA-regulated facilities. Collaborate directly with a subject matter expert who understands the industry inside and out. Flexibility to work remotely and on your schedule.
