Marketing Consultant for Tech Startup (AI/ML Focus)

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on marketing professional to support a fast-moving startup developing cutting-edge AI/ML technology for the next generation of autonomous systems. The role focuses on refining core messaging, elevating brand presence, and launching targeted marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong background in startup marketing and excels at transforming complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with customers. Responsibilities: - Write clear, persuasive copy for web, slicksheets, and social media - Refine messaging to emphasize market positioning and differentiation - Collaborate with the startup’s web designer to update digital presence - Plan and execute PR and social campaigns (focused on LinkedIn & Instagram) - Work with engineering and leadership to storyboard capabilities into value - Use AI tools to generate visuals and create marketing imagery and videos - Edit product demo videos or coordinate with videographers on larger projects Requirements: - Proven experience in startup or tech-focused marketing - Strong writing and content creation skills - Familiarity with AI/ML products strongly preferred - Experience with military/defense tech is a plus - Self-starter comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments ** Only US-based candidates will be considered for this position, and no outsourcing of work. All interviews will require cameras on and will include technical screening. ** Our pay scale is flexible (which explains wide range) and will be based on level of experience.
