Freelance Data Journalist for Ongoing Projects We're looking for a freelance data journalist to join our content team on a project-by-project basis. You'll be provided with a content brief and expected to carry the project from data analysis through to a polished, well-written article. Responsibilities include: Conducting data analysis based on a pre-created brief Writing a clear summary of key insights from the analysis Creating an outline for a data-driven article Writing a compelling, accessible data journalism piece Requirements: Comfortable using Google Sheets for live formulas and basic analysis Familiar with querying APIs to collect or enrich data Able to conduct independent analysis and clearly explain your methods and findings Willing to join data review sessions with stakeholders Available to communicate during 9AM–5PM EST, Monday–Friday We're looking for someone who can deliver clean, insightful, and well-structured work on a regular basis. Each assignment is paid a flat rate starting at $600 and subject to change on a project to project basis based on scope.
