No agencies. We create online driver education courses (like drivers ed and traffic school or defensive driving). We've completed 10 courses and we're expanding to other states. We're looking to hire an experienced writer to join our journey. The content varies from driver education topics like car maintenance to government-specific topics and codes, and laws. We provide an outline of the content to be covered in the lesson and also an editorial style guide. Generally, we default to AP (though maybe we should say “AP for the internet”). Because we are writing educational content, we tend to veer from more formal rules to improve readability and increase engagement with the content. You should be comfortable writing in AP format. Ideal candidate: 1. 2-5 years of writing experience 2. Background in content marketing / journalism / creative writing / academic writing 3. Punctual with deadlines. Before we move forward, we'll hire you to complete a test lesson (paid trial). Previous experience with Asana is a BONUS for us.
