The North Carolina Marine & Estuary Foundation is seeking a talented ghostwriter with a passion for environmental storytelling to write SEO-optimized blog posts for our website. Our mission is to build world-class fisheries and thriving coastal economies, and your writing will help us boost our online visibility, engage supporters, and educate the public. Responsibilities: Research and write 2–4 blog posts per month (800–1,200 words each). Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices to drive organic traffic. Translate scientific and policy information into engaging, reader-friendly content. Maintain the Foundation’s voice and tone (professional, optimistic, accessible). Collaborate with staff for content planning and revisions Ideal Candidate: Proven experience writing blog content with a focus on SEO. Preferred background in environmental science, marine conservation, or related topics Ability to synthesize technical material into clear, compelling articles.
