SEO Specialist Project Project Overview: We are a successful Baltimore based Burger Concept seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to optimize our digital presence and drive organic traffic growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring our content ranks competitively in search engines. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic. • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and opportunities. • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, content, and images for search visibility. • Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve issues (site speed, indexing, mobile-friendliness, structured data). • Develop and implement link-building strategies to enhance domain authority. • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz). • Keep up with search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly. • Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated. • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. • Generate SEO reports and provide insights for continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices. • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc. • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO. • Experience with content marketing and keyword strategy to drive organic traffic. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data-driven insights. • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Google Analytics and/or SEO certification. • Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization. • Knowledge of AI and automation in SEO.
