We’re looking for a Creative Content & Social Media Specialist with a knack for social media content creation. Your primary focus will be on developing compelling graphics and visuals, with a secondary focus on producing short-form videos and reels to support broader content initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with our team to craft eye-catching visuals, post engaging social content, and manage content calendars across various platforms & channels. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines. This position starts as a freelance role with the potential to transition into a full-time position. Key Responsibilities 1. Graphic & Video Content Creation (70%) - Develop Graphics and Visuals – Create both templated and custom assets, including social media posts, infographics, carousel posts, and branded templates, primarily using Canva and Figma. - Short-Form Video Production – Develop high-quality short form videos (e.g. Instagram reels, TikTok videos, etc) to support campaigns and brand messaging. - Apply Strong Design Intuition — Create content that captures audience attention, drives engagement, and influences action. - Brand Consistency & Collaboration – Ensure all visuals align with brand identity and marketing objectives. - File Organization – Maintain a structured library of design assets for easy team access and future use. 2. Social Media Management (30%) - Content Planning & Scheduling – Develop content calendars, schedule posts, and optimize distribution across platforms. - Community Engagement – Monitor and engage with audiences as needed to foster brand presence and drive engagement. - Performance Tracking & Optimization – Analyze content performance and suggest improvements to increase reach and effectiveness. - Analytics & Reporting – Leverage social media insights to refine content strategy and maximize impact. Required Skills & Qualifications - Canva & Figma Expertise – Strong portfolio showcasing compelling visual content for social media. - Video Editing – Experience creating short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. - Social Media Knowledge – Deep understanding of content best practices, engagement strategies, and platform trends. - Content Scheduling & Management – Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Business Manager, Meta Business Suite, HootSuite, and more. - Self-Motivated & Deadline-Driven – Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback. - Attention to Detail – Consistency in branding, formatting, and file organization. - Quality Assurance & Proofreading – Ensure all deliverables are accurate, polished, and free from grammatical or spelling errors. Nice-to-Have Skills - Email Marketing – Experience with platform configuration, list segmenting, email design, and email automation on platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Active Campaign, etc. - Copywriting – Strong writing skills for social media captions and brand messaging. - AI-Assisted Content Creation – Familiarity with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc) to streamline ideation, design, and copywriting processes.
