We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Media Relations Specialist to support our PR efforts on a freelance basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, knows how to build strong media relationships, and can deliver impactful results across press and award campaigns. Responsibilities: Media Relations Maintain and regularly update press lists across relevant industry verticals Pitch and, when needed, write compelling stories to secure targeted media coverage Write and distribute 3–6 press releases tailored to specific client or campaign objectives Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage with clear KPIs and insights Awards & Recognition Research and identify relevant awards and recognition opportunities Prepare and submit award applications, including gathering and developing supporting documentation Bonus (Long-Term Potential): We’re ideally looking for someone interested in a longer-term working relationship. Once you’re familiar with our product line and brand voice, there’s potential to expand the role to include social media support and broader marketing communications. Ideal Candidate: Proven track record in media relations and PR Strong writing and storytelling skills Detail-oriented, responsive, and self-driven Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
