Real Estate News Writer - Los Angeles

I run a real estate news publications in Los Angeles. I am looking for freelance writers to write content relating to real estate development, restaurant openings, and other local news. The ideal candidate must be well versed in real estate and either live in Los Angeles or be extremely well versed in the state/city. I am looking for a writers who can turn around content within 1-2 days, in a short form news format (approx 500 words). Content types include: - short reblogs from other websites - press release write ups - real estate news articles that require a bit of research, outreach, or pulling from different sources - new restaurant openings - research and write ups We will provide some leads, but the ideal candidate should be able to pitch original stories to us as well. The ideal candidate will know how to research new developments via planning/zoning board agendas, architecture firms, and more.
