Overview We are seeking an experienced Wikipedia consultant to help finalize and publish a new Wikipedia article about a notable individual. A draft of the article has been created, supported by a substantial number of high-quality citations from authoritative sources, including MIT.edu, BizJournals.com, UNC.edu, NSF.gov, and others. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Wikipedia’s content policies, including notability, verifiability, neutrality, and conflict of interest guidelines. The consultant will refine the draft, ensure compliance with Wikipedia standards, properly format citations, and successfully publish the page. Assistance with media items (images, infoboxes, and other relevant content) is also required. Responsibilities Review and refine the existing Wikipedia draft to ensure it meets Wikipedia's content and notability guidelines. Format and properly cite references using Wikipedia’s citation standards. Address potential neutrality and conflict-of-interest concerns to ensure compliance with Wikipedia policies. Experience handling media uploads via Wikimedia Commons. Ability to navigate deletion discussions and address editor feedback effectively. Strong research and writing skills to ensure clarity, neutrality, and proper sourcing. Wikipedia editor account with a positive track record is a plus.
