We are a published, female founder-led interior design firm moving entirely to in-house content creation. We're looking for a talented freelance content writer who lives and breathes at the intersection of all things design---home, lifestyle, wellness, food and culture---and knows how to deliver smart, contemporary content across different formats and platforms that resonates. Experience and understanding of SEO, writing for social, brand story building and series, as well as blog posts and podcasts, a big plus. Our audience is primarily women, educated, ages 30-65 who appreciate beautiful living, personal growth and cultural intelligence--but we want to stay inclusive and appealing to men too. Think GOOP and Architectural Digest/Elle Decor meets The Diary of a CEO podcast with a little edge. If you can write with style while not sacrificing substance in a fresh, modern voice, you might be the perfect fit. About the Role: -Contributing writer who can help shape the voice of a new lifestyle philosophy. -Freelance, office available and/or remote. -Write articles, captions and scripts across platforms, including blog posts, research for podcast and future newsletter. -Ability to carry out research deeply and creatively. We're not about surface-level content or fluff; you will be expected to dig beyond obvious ideas to find golden nuggets and interesting angles across topics, including science and psychology that captivate, inspire and offer real insights and value to readers/viewers. -Understands high aesthetics and editorials, brands, podcasts and social feeds in similar categories (interiors, lifestyle, pop culture, health and wellness, products, fashion). -Must be self motivated, deadline-driven and nice!
