Description: We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Email Marketer to optimize and refine our email marketing strategy for Dutch.com, an online pet health platform. Our current email automation strategy includes checkout abandonment flows, nurture sequences, and promotional blasts, but we need expert support to increase engagement, conversion rates, and overall performance. Key Responsibilities: Audit & Optimize Existing Flows: Improve performance in checkout abandonment, nurture series, and welcome emails by refining subject lines, CTAs, content structure, and send cadence. Develop New Email Journeys: Implement missing engagement and win-back sequences to encourage first-time consults and re-engage lapsed customers. Enhance Personalization & Dynamic Content: Introduce conditional logic, behavior-based triggers, and pet-specific messaging to increase relevance. Segmentation & Testing: A/B test subject lines, CTA placement, incentives, and audience targeting to drive higher click-through and conversion rates. Refine Promotional Blasts Strategy: Separate educational vs. promotional emails and ensure automated journeys do not conflict with blasts. Improve Email Deliverability & Engagement: Reduce unsubscribe rates and email fatigue by optimizing frequency and content quality. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in lifecycle marketing, email automation, and retention strategies Expertise in Klaviyo, HubSpot, Iterable, or similar ESPs Strong copywriting and email UX skills to enhance engagement Data-driven mindset with experience in email performance analytics Ability to implement A/B tests and iterate based on insights Experience in DTC e-commerce, subscription services, or pet-related brands is a plus Project Scope: This will be an initial project with the potential for ongoing collaboration. We need immediate optimization of our existing flows and strategic planning for new lifecycle journeys. Budget: Open to discussion based on experience.
