Job Overview We are an elite membership society called Student Athlete Scholars. Our goal is to encourage high school student-athletes (and their parents) to enroll in our prestigious program. We currently have 9 email templates that need a professional audit to ensure they align with our brand and effectively prompt recipients to click through to our website. What We Need We’re looking for an experienced copywriter with a strong background in email marketing. The objective is to review our existing email templates and optimize them so they are: Professional – Reflecting our status as an elite membership society. Easy to Understand – Written clearly, considering our main audience is high school students (and their parents). Highly Engaging & Clickable – Capturing attention and driving strong click-through rates. Scope of Work Audit 9 existing email templates. Provide recommendations on subject lines, preview text, body copy, and CTAs. Update or rewrite content to reflect a refined, professional tone that resonates with high school students and parents. Ensure consistent branding and voice across all templates. Incorporate proven copywriting tactics (e.g., AIDA framework, personalization, clear calls to action) to maximize engagement and conversions. Deliverables A brief report summarizing key issues or missed opportunities in each email. Revised/rewritten versions of the 9 email templates, ready for immediate implementation. Qualifications Proven track record in email marketing/copywriting (especially for student-focused or youth-oriented programs preferred). Ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively. Experience in optimizing content for high open and click-through rates. Familiarity with best practices in email marketing, including personalization, deliverability, and compliance.
