We’re looking for a sharp, experienced SEO Specialist to join our growing digital team. This role is perfect for someone who understands the full SEO ecosystem—from technical audits and on-page optimization to content strategy and local SEO—and can confidently manage client campaigns with minimal hand-holding. The ideal candidate is data-driven, self-sufficient, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll be expected to take full ownership of your campaigns, communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members, and provide strategic insights that drive real results. Location Requirement: Candidates must be located in Jacksonville, FL, and willing to meet the owner in person before the position is offered. Occasional Zoom meetings with clients will also be required. What You’ll Do: Manage and optimize SEO campaigns across a variety of industries (local, national, and e-commerce). Perform regular technical SEO audits, fix crawl errors, improve site structure, and address page speed issues. Execute on-page optimizations including keyword research, meta tags, internal linking, and schema markup. Build and manage local SEO strategies including Google Business Profile optimization and local citations. Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using GA4, Search Console, and tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, or Screaming Frog. Assist in making website updates using WordPress, Squarespace, and similar platforms. Communicate with clients via Zoom to explain SEO strategy and performance. Deliver clear, professional reporting with actionable insights. Stay on top of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrated results. Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page, and off-page strategies. Ability to independently manage SEO campaigns from start to finish. Proficient in GA4, GTM, and advanced SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.). Comfortable making content edits and basic page updates on WordPress, Squarespace, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Bonus Points For: Previous agency experience or managing SEO for multiple clients. Familiarity with SurferSEO, Frase, Microsoft Clarity, or other CRO/UX tools. Light knowledge of HTML/CSS for technical SEO adjustments.
