We received a message from Google Search Console notifying us of a new issue preventing some of our website pages from being indexed: “Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user.” This means Google is identifying certain pages as duplicates and is choosing to index a different version than the one we’ve specified. If this is not intentional, it may impact our site's visibility in search results. We are looking for an experienced SEO or web development professional who can: Investigate the root cause of this issue Audit our current canonical tags and page structure Recommend and implement solutions to resolve the conflict Ensure all affected pages are properly indexed by Google Requirements: Strong understanding of SEO best practices, especially related to indexing and canonicalization Experience with Google Search Console Familiarity with website structure, meta tags, and duplicate content issues Ability to troubleshoot and resolve indexing problems in a timely manner Please include examples of similar issues you've resolved in the past or results you’ve achieved. We are looking to get this fixed quickly.
