Overview We are seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for our brick and mortar business clients, driving measurable results and supporting long-term business objectives. Responsibilities - Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple brick & mortar businesses to achieve long-term KPIs and improve organic search visibility - Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to inform strategic decisions - Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for website optimization, including site structure, page speed, and mobile responsiveness - Utilize web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to track performance metrics and continuously refine strategies based on data insights - Prepare detailed monthly performance reports and lead client-facing presentations to communicate SEO progress, insights, and recommendations - Lead and manage SEO specialists and content writers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables - Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management for SEO initiatives - Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage for clients Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy development and implementation, particularly for local businesses - Proven track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic growth - Strong analytical skills with experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms - Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other web analytics platforms - Excellent project management abilities with experience leading teams to meet deadlines and objectives - Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Experience managing client relationships and presenting performance results effectively - Knowledge of current SEO best practices and algorithm updates Contract Details - Expected monthly work 20-25 hrs for 9+ months - Possibility of conversion to full-time - Flexible schedule Please provide a few case studies and references of past work in your proposal.
