I’m looking for a talented content strategist to assist with auditing our blog and helping to reposition it as an expert resource for AI and design—think Hubspot meets the world of AI-driven creativity. Our current content leans more towards social media, SMB, and ads (inherited from a brand focused on AI ad generation). We’re pivoting the product to focus on AI design automation, and need some help realigning the existing content around four (new) key pillars: design, automation, growth and templates. - - - - - - - - Key Responsibilities: Audit & Analysis: Review our current blog content and evaluate posts based on their relevance to our new vision and categories. Content Strategy: Develop recommendations on which posts to keep, update, redirect, or remove to best align with our goal of becoming the “Hubspot for AI/Design.” Content Mapping: Categorize existing posts under our new framework (Design, Growth, Automation, Templates) and identify content gaps. Action Plan: Create a detailed, actionable plan to implement the necessary changes—including content updates, SEO enhancements, and potential new content ideas. Direct Collaboration: Work directly with me via Upwork messages and/or video chats to ensure the strategy aligns with the overall product vision and business goals. - - - - - - - - Required Qualifications: - Proven experience in content strategy, particularly with blog audits and content migration or rebranding projects. - Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content performance metrics. - Experience working with tech or creative brands, preferably within AI, design, or marketing industries. - Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly. - Ability to work independently and manage projects within set deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with design and AI tooling - A portfolio showcasing successful content strategy or rebranding projects. - Familiarity with social media marketing and SMB/ads content, to better understand our legacy content. - - - - - - - - Project Timeline We’re planning to relaunch the brand in mid to late May, and require some time for migrating the content to a new platform, so ideally no longer than a month. There are around 135 posts on the blog, ranging on average from 500-1500 words. The project can be sequenced in two phases: phase 1 will focus on the blog audit and enable us to begin migrating the content we wish to keep, and start updating any posts identified for a refresh.
