About the Role: We are seeking a Fractional Paid Social Specialist with deep expertise in Facebook Ads—and ideally TikTok Ads—to drive scalable growth and high returns on ad spend for our e-commerce clients. This is an internal delivery role where you will develop and execute paid social strategies, oversee campaign setup and optimization, and collaborate closely with our graphic designers to produce compelling ad creatives. Your primary mission is to deliver measurable results and high ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) by leveraging best practices in audience targeting, funnel building, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Campaign Architecture: Develop comprehensive paid social strategies tailored to each e-commerce brand’s objectives (awareness, conversions, upsells, etc.). Identify profitable customer segments and design funnels (cold, warm, hot audiences) for maximum impact. Map out clear KPIs and ROI targets, aligning efforts with budget and growth goals. Platform Management (Facebook & TikTok): Facebook Ads: Oversee end-to-end campaign creation, from ad set structuring to budget allocation, optimizing for high returns on ad spend. TikTok Ads: If applicable, manage TikTok campaigns to extend reach, drive engagement, and tap into new customer demographics. Continuously test new features, placements, and creative approaches to stay ahead in a competitive landscape. Ad Creation & Collaboration with Designers: Work in tandem with our full-time graphic designers to brief and refine ad creatives—ensuring visuals align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Provide direction on ad copy, key messaging, hooks, and calls-to-action for a cohesive user experience. Maintain a systematic testing approach (A/B, multivariate) to identify high-performing ad elements. Audience Targeting & Funnel Optimization: Leverage lookalike audiences, custom audiences, and retargeting strategies to reach users at different stages of the buying journey. Continuously refine audience segments based on performance data, seasonality, and product lifecycle. Implement strategies to acquire new customers while re-engaging past buyers for repeat purchases. Performance Analysis & Conversion Tracking: Set up and manage robust tracking solutions (Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, UTM parameters) for accurate measurement of ROAS, CPA, and LTV. Monitor campaign performance daily, adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize conversions and profit margins. Conduct post-campaign audits, identifying key insights and actionable recommendations for ongoing optimization. Testing & Scaling: Develop hypotheses for new ad angles, audience segments, and creatives; run systematic tests to validate assumptions. Identify winning campaigns and scale them aggressively while maintaining profitability targets. Stay current with algorithm updates and paid social platform changes, adapting strategies proactively. Reporting & Communication: Provide internal stakeholders with clear, data-driven performance reports—highlighting ROAS, CPA, CTR, and other relevant metrics. Communicate insights, wins, and challenges, offering solutions to further drive revenue growth. Maintain transparent documentation of campaign structure, targeting parameters, and historical performance for future reference. Required Qualifications & Experience - 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Facebook Ads for e-commerce, with demonstrated high ROAS and successful scaling of campaigns. - Strong portfolio or case studies showcasing revenue growth, CPA reduction, and overall profitability improvements. - Deep knowledge of Facebook Ads platform, including campaign objectives, audience creation, pixel setup, and conversion optimization. - Experience with TikTok Ads (or willingness to learn) is highly preferred, especially for e-commerce or D2C brands. - Familiarity with end-to-end e-commerce sales funnels, from prospecting to retargeting to loyalty. - Ability to interpret product margins, break-even ROAS, and lifetime value to guide decision-making on ad spend. - Proficiency in interpreting data from Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and related tools. - Comfort with metric-driven optimization, including A/B testing, LTV calculations, and segmentation. - Skilled at partnering with graphic designers to produce effective visuals and creative concepts. - Clear, concise communicator who can translate campaign performance insights into actionable steps. - Stays current on the latest paid social platform updates, targeting tactics, and ad formats. - Demonstrates a passion for testing new approaches, scaling successful campaigns, and driving sustainable growth. Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with other paid channels (Google Ads, Pinterest Ads) for a multi-channel approach. - Knowledge of email marketing or SMS marketing to coordinate cohesive cross-channel promotions. - Familiarity with marketing automation platforms or CRM systems to track and nurture leads.
