We are moving towards a book launch (non-fiction on current affairs) in early April. The project is to plan and execute a media blitz for the book so that it is literally everywhere and anywhere, particularly in top platforms. Specifically the project will entail: - Curation of a full media list with contact information (print, tv, digital) - Curation of relevant Substacks that could highlight the book - Curation of top podcasts that could feature the book (relevant and with large audience only) - Development of required copy (press release + email scripts if relevant) - Implementation of outreach over a 1-3 month period - Coordination of media placement, hits, and interviews This is a serious project that requires someone with a proven track record, hustle and grit, and full ownership of a project. This is not a strategy exercise, but requires implementation, including outreach and coordination with media where required. The appropriate person should already have many media contacts and ideally have worked on current affairs issues. Additional capabilities, such as corporate outreach, lists of relevant professionals, knowledge of the book industry, that can help with sales/conversions of the book in the early day are welcome.
