New content is key to a business’s growth, but planning it, creating it, and scheduling it takes forever. The Role We’re seeking a project manager to keep our client projects moving smoothly and to augment our internal operational processes. This is a vital role in our business’s success. This role is a touchpoint with all of our team members and a point of contact with our clients. Great communication and great organization are keys to success. Project management for ConiferCo’s clients: - Make sure that the scoped client work gets done on time, on budget, and with great quality. This involves collaborating with our internal team to set and meet deadlines, working with our clients to get approvals, and serving as the first round of quality control. - Understand the client: their vision, goals, messaging needs, branding requirements, etc so that you can serve as the first round of quality control. - Prepare for and attend client meetings, take notes, and manage all follow-up. - Serve as the internal “traffic controller” for ad hoc client requests. Make sure that these requests get completed by the right person. - Manage project status documents and keep Asana up to date. - Draft weekly project update emails for clients (client dependent). - For one client, project manage a website redesign. Work with the web designer/developer as the client’s representative. - As needed: Work on one-off client deliverables (eg, client recently asked for an SOP for how to use the new brand guidelines and templates ConiferCo created) Internal project and process improvement: - Document and optimize ConiferCo’s existing workflows - Define new workflows where needed - Help improve team communication - Run weekly internal team meetings on project updates - Help plan monthly or every other month team meetings on more general topics You’ll be a great fit if: - You have agency experience, ideally in marketing, ads, or website design / development - You have project managed a website redesign in the past - You have 2-4 years of project management experience - You are organized and detail-oriented - You communicate clearly–both in speaking and writing - You are comfortable with some ambiguity and can grow kernels of ideas into something bigger - You can multitask - You have experience working with some combination of G Suite, Asana, Slack, MailChimp, HubSpot, SquareSpace, WordPress Key Performance Indicators - Client satisfaction - On-time delivery of quality work - Improved organizational efficiency - Good team communication - Timeliness and accuracy in completing assigned tasks Why Join Us? - Remote Flexibility: Work Eastern Time zone hours from anywhere in the US. - Supportive Team: Join a team that values creativity and individuality - Room for Growth: This role starts at 10-15 hours per week, for three months, with opportunity for growth as the company expands.
