I'm looking for an experienced Shopify expert to audit, clean up, and create a sustainable workflow for managing products, variants, and categories in our store. Right now, duplicate listings, discontinued products, and deleted variants are creating broken links in SEMrush, causing data sync issues with our ERP, and affecting third-party sales channels like Google Merchant Center and Pinterest. We need someone who can not only fix these issues but also implement a long-term strategy for maintaining a clean, optimized product catalog. What You’ll Be Doing: ✅ Create a structured workflow for adding, managing, and discontinuing products/variants in Shopify. ✅ Fix broken links caused by deleted/archived products, ensuring proper redirects or alternative solutions. ✅ Clean up product categories to remove duplicates and improve navigation. ✅ Resolve syncing issues affecting our ERP, Google Merchant Center, Pinterest, and other third-party platforms. ✅ Determine the best approach for handling discontinued products – should they be archived, hidden, tagged, or placed in a separate collection? ✅ Ensure archived products remain visible with a “Sold Out” button that syncs with a Klaviyo list for potential restocks or notifications. ✅ Optimize metadata and product structure to enhance SEO and reduce errors in SEMrush.
