Job Title: Squarespace SEO & Technical Consultant Job Type: Temporary / Contract Location: Remote About the Project: We are looking for an experienced Squarespace and SEO consultant to help improve our website's visibility on Google search. Despite launching the site, we have not seen any success in search rankings or discoverability. We need a skilled professional to identify and fix any technical issues, optimize the site, and provide a strategy for ongoing SEO success. Key Responsibilities: Audit the Squarespace website to diagnose technical SEO issues. Implement technical fixes (e.g., URL structure, site indexing, mobile-friendliness, speed optimization). Conduct keyword research and on-page SEO optimization. Ensure proper integration of metadata, alt tags, and other search engine best practices. Provide recommendations for ongoing SEO improvement. Qualifications: Proven experience with Squarespace websites. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO. Ability to diagnose and solve SEO-related issues on Squarespace. Experience improving search visibility and rankings for similar projects. Excellent communication skills to explain recommendations and strategies clearly.
